- Account Information: If you create an account for cloud backup, we collect your email address, name, and credentials.
- App Data: We collect the URLs, tags, and categories you save in LinkVault.
- Device Camera: Used only for QR code scanning to import links. Image frames are processed locally and never stored or transmitted.
3. Data Storage & Security
- Local Storage: All your links, tags, and categories are stored on your device database by default.
- Cloud Sync: If you select cloud backup, your data is securely transmitted and stored on our servers to sync across devices.
- Security: We implement standard security practices to protect your information.
4. Permissions Required
- Internet: Required to scrape title/description/image metadata for links you add, and for backup sync.
- Camera: Required to scan QR codes. You can deny this permission if you do not use QR scanning.
5. Third-Party Services
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. We do not use third-party tracking or analytics SDKs.
6. Your Choices & Data Deletion
- You can delete saved links and categories at any time inside the app.
- You can delete your cloud account and all associated data from the profile settings.
